The fibre optic training courses we offer are mapped against the NQF (National Qualifications Framework) and therefore allow individuals and companies to cross reference the level of each course against the national framework which is produced and published by the QCA (Qualifications Curriculum Authority*).
Our qualifications include BTEC Intermediate Award in Datacomms Installation (Fibre) accredited by Edexel and the City & Guilds 3667 range including the 01, 02, 03 and 04 units (this replaces the old C&G 3666).
Our portfolio of fibre optic training courses are suitable for the following groups of people:
*QCA is a non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES). It is governed by a board, whose members are appointed by the secretary of State for Education and Skills, and managed on a day-to-day basis by an executive team.

Is it Fibre or Fiber
Our US partners spell fiber this way whilst most UK organisations will use fibre. However it’s becoming more common to see the US spelling of fiber used as organisations adopt a more global stance. We will if you prefer change our course material to the USA fiber as apposed to the UK fibre to suite your company policies. Within this web site we use fibre as the standard and not fiber.
An Ongoing Debate
The debate over the correct spelling of words first began when Samuel Johnson's Dictionary of the English Language was published in1755, followed by Noah Webster's An American Dictionary of the English Language in 1828. While people in England preferred Johnson's spellings, Webster's simplified variations became increasingly popular in the United States.
