| CNet launches New Suite of Data Centre Courses |
Following the tremendous success of their Data Centre Design training programme, delivered both in the UK and the Middle East, CNet Training have reacted to continued demand for further Data Centre knowledge, and are launching a suite of complementary courses designed to expand delegates’ skills even further from design through to ongoing operational management..
The current 3-day course provides the necessary skills to allow communications
professionals to competently understand all the complex design issues surrounding the data centre environment and to be able to produce accurate design requirements for data centres and perform detailed audits. However, delegate feedback has prompted CNet’s development team to launch a suite of three further 1-day courses to meet market demand for extensions to this core course..
- Certified Data Centre Design (CDCD™) - 3 days
- Certified Data Centre Technichian (CDCT™) - 3days
- Practical Data Centre Management - 1 day
- Advanced Data Centre Power - 1 day
- Advanced Data Centre HVAC - 1 day
Two of the new courses (Advanced Data Centre Power and Advanced Centre HVAC) provide more comprehensive knowledge of subjects covered on the 3-day Data Centre programme, whilst the third ( Data Centre Management) provides a thorough insight into the complex area of managing the data centre post hand-over.
Andrew Stevens, CNet Training’s Managing Director comments, “The success of our original Data Centre Design programme far exceeded our expectations and, by listening to our clients, we realised an urgent need for further add-on courses. Each of the new courses deliver more essential knowledge to allow delegates to combined their skills to demonstrate a greater understanding of the many complex areas involved with Data Centre Design.”
"We decided to develop the data centre management course using Square Mile Systems as we found there was limited public material on best practice Data Centre Management".
David Cuthbertson, Square Mile System’s Managing Director added “Many organisations are realising that the most critical part of their IT infrastructure is being managed by teams who have never been able to source specific training for their needs. In conjunction with the design courses, the day on management practices will provide the extra knowledge needed to make the data centre deliver what it was designed for”.
Any of the three new courses cost just £425 and can be taken as stand alone courses or as extensions to the original 3-day course.
